Artist Statement

This feeling when looking at a work of art whilst its only you and the work itself.

You look at the work and it moves you, fills you up and takes you into a sensual world that lies inside you.

Painting from observation is the foundation of my Body of works.

Observation is beyond seeing. Its an inner perception. The observation is pointed towards the feeling that lies beyond what the eyes can see.

This feeling is created out of an On going dialogue between my inner observation and the external one. One feeds the other.

It can be light that creates energy, feel of movement, closeness and warmth and the sense of freedom.
